Birthday Parties

Birthday Party Rental for exclusive use of Picnic Grove and Walker Hall: $125 flat fee
Note: Renters are responsible for food, decor, and clean-up. 

Guided Explorations (Party Add-On): $125 flat fee + $20 per child
Our field trips, but modified to be less formal and more experiential.

• Bugs: We give each child bug jars for the bug program and go hunt for critters while identifying them.
• Water Critters: We wade into the creek with nets that the kids can take home and look for fish and invertebrates.
• Birds: We give each child binoculars and walk through the trails looking for birds both real and staged.
• Archaeology: Kids can use our Excavation Education Station to learn how to dig like an archaeologist and identify model artifacts.
• The $20 fee includes access to the property for the child and their guardians, the take-home gift (Choose between one of our add-on items), and 1.5 hours of guided exploration across our property. There is a 7 child minimum for Guided Explorations.

Self-Guided Programming is also available if it would be preferred by the renter or if staffing limits our ability to provide an educator. Self-Guided Programming materials are an additional $5 per child paired with the $125 flat fee.
