"I enjoyed tent camping on the island. It was a novel experience and the signs and clear trails on the island made it easy to navigate once I landed on the shore with my kayak. Surprisingly quiet of urban noise in spite of being in the middle of a city."
"My family and I camped here over the weekend and had an amazing time. This is a beautifully maintained nature preserve that has a very special and comfortable feel. The are many trails that are well maintained with varying difficulties, but almost all are easy enough for our kiddos (1 & 3y/o) to enjoy too. The campsite was clean and close to hiking trails with a bathroom a tidy bathroom nearby. The staff are all very kind, helpful, and quick to respond. We love this place and highly recommend anyone to check it out!"
