Fairies & Mermaids!What is D&D?
Dungeons and Dragons is a "structured, yet open-ended" role-playing board game. The game is lead by the role of Game Master while the other players act as a mythical or fantastical character moving through the game. The players collaborate as a "party of adventurers" to move through a fictional world completing tasks and battling monsters. "This activity is performed through the verbal impersonation of the characters by the players, while employing a variety of social and other useful cognitive skills, such as logic, basic mathematics, and imagination." The goal of the players is to successfully move through the game and reach the treasure. |
