Carmen is the face behind Nooga Honey Pot. She manages 25 hives across three counties in Eastern Tennessee. All of her hives are feral, rescued bees. Her love of beekeeping came from her father and uncle who were beekeepers in Florida.
Carmen removes honeybees from structures, collects swarms, and sells handmade and wildcrafted salves, soaps and hive related items in small batches. Her hope is to show people how to love honeybees through hands-on experiences and education! This demonstration is for children 10+! Tickets are $35 for members and $40 for non-members.
