Audubon Adventure Pentathalon | June 8th
Road running, mountain biking, paddling, trail running, and climbing. For experienced athletes, the unique course with its sprint-like distances will be an exciting challenge. But with its moderate trails and short distances, this race is ideal for beginners attempting their first multi-sport race.

Help us celebrate our 75th Anniversary at our Open House! Admission is free to everyone on this special day. We will be highlighting all that Audubon has to offer including our sanctuary properties, our Trail of Tears history, Artifact Collection, CE Blevin Migratory Bird Collection, etc.
Afternoon Walk into Native American Culture
October 10th 2019
Joint presentation of the Houston Museum & Chattanooga Audubon Society
Program begins at 1pm and will last approximately two hours. Designed to be intergenerational-fun and learning for both children and adults. Learn about the significance of the turtle in Native American Culture. Learn a few words in the Cherokee language, hear a demonstration of the native American flute. Tour Cherokee built Spring Frog Cabin and observe a blow gun demonstration. Exhibition of antique Native American necklaces. Lastly, hand craft and take home your own Native-American inspired necklace piece.
Acres of Darkness - Haunted Trail & Family Adventure | Fridays & Saturdays in October
Chattanooga's naturally terrifying haunt in the woods features a half mile long haunted trail through the forest. Event also includes a family area, hayride, bonfire, and kiddie trail for younger visitors and families.
