Birding for Beginners

Join The Chattanooga Chapter of the Tennessee Ornithological Society and Chattanooga Audubon Society for an immersive birding experience at Audubon Acres. This event invites folks brand new to birding to discover, learn, and appreciate the beauty of local bird species in their natural habitat. Description: Expect a gentle and beginner-friendly walk, covering trails spanning less than 2 miles. The terrain may be uneven or muddy, so wearing waterproof shoes is advised along with weather-appropriate clothing. For those without binoculars, worry not! There are binoculars available for loan during the excursion. Participants are encouraged to bring their water bottles for hydration. Important Notes:

Admission:
While the event is open to all, there is a nominal fee to participate. $5 for members of Chattanooga Audubon Society and $10 for non-members.
