On November 4th at 2pm, Carmen from NoogaHoneyPot will teach us how to harvest tree bark for medicinal purposes AND we will make Wild Cherry Bark Cough Syrup together! You will learn how and when to harvest and preserve the cherry tree bark, how to use it, and about many other trees indigenous to this area whose bark will be a good addition to your herbal medicine cabinet!
Carmen Joyce, has ancestral roots grounded in Appalachia since the 1700s. She has been a student of the earth since a very young age and has extensive knowledge of herbalism and wildcrafting. She has been making art with plants for more than ten years but becoming a beekeeper helped her dive even deeper into the magic of plants.
