How to Make Wild
Cherry Bark Cough Syrup
On November 4th at 2pm, Willow Crest Farms will teach us how to harvest tree bark for medicinal purposes AND we will make Wild Cherry Bark Cough Syrup together! You will learn how and when to harvest and preserve the cherry tree bark, how to use it, and about many other trees indigenous to this area whose bark will be a good addition to your herbal medicine cabinet! Each student will receive educational materials to take home for future reference. You will have the option to purchase some of the cough medicine that we make on this day at a 25% off discounted rate of $3 per oz as well! That is an amazing price for organic, wildcrafted, small batch, local medicine! Interested in mushrooms as well? Earlier in the day, Willow Crest Farms will also be leading a mushroom foraging class! Those who plan to attend both classes are invited to bring a sack lunch to enjoy at our picnic tables between the classes. |
The class is $35 for members and $40 for non-members.
Spots are limited for this class. The minimum number of students required is 10 and this event may be cancelled should we fail to meet the minimum. This course will be held indoors rain or shine. If you have any questions, please email enull@chattaudubon.org or call 423-892-1499 |
