Creepy Crawly Herpetology
Join us on October 20th from 7:00pm-8:30pm to talk about nature's scary critters!
Herpetology is the branch of zoology concerned with the study of amphibians and reptiles. Local herpetology expert Paul Bakland will be telling us all about nature's creepiest, spookiest, scariest creatures. After that we'll search for snakes, turtles, salamanders and all the other creatures that call Audubon Acres home. Along the way he'll be discussing what makes these creatures so wonderful and interesting. Our guide, Paul Bakland is not only a life-long fan of herpetology, but he also made it his career! His educational background is in herpetology and he is now a biology teacher in Hamilton County leading his school's herpetology club. Whew, how many times can we say herpetology in one sentence? |
This class is for the whole family! Tickets are $5 for members and $10 for non-members.
