Our friends from Opie Acres will be bringing their *non-releasable* education animals for us to learn about and pet!
Creepy Crawly Herpetology | October 20th
Herpetology expert Paul Bakland will be telling us all about nature's creepiest, spookiest, scariest creatures. After that we'll search for snakes, turtles, salamanders and all the other creatures that call Audubon Acres home.
Fall Foliage Walk| November 3rd 2023
Embrace the beauty of the changing seasons and explore the breathtaking wonders of the outdoors in all its golden splendor. Jessica will share fascinating insights about the local flora and fauna, the ecological significance of the region, and the birds and animals that call this area home.
Walker Farm Pioneer Days | Tuesday November 14- Saturday November 18
Walker Farm Pioneer Days is a hands-on, living history event geared for elementary aged students and families. Visitors move through different historical demonstrations which showcase period skills or jobs. Reservations are required for all attendees.
