Job Openings

Contract Muralist

Chattanooga Audubon Society (CAS) is inviting an artist to create a mural on our education building, Walker Hall. This is a building that is very visible on our main property Audubon Acres, which sees thousands of unique visitors year after year.

CAS and the region in which we operate has a rich and storied history. The mural we will commission will focus on illustrating "Where History and Nature Meet" with a special focus on depicting the history of Indigenous People in the area. After the mural is completed, we will host an unveiling ceremony on Indigenous People’s Day, October 13th 2026.

We will invite all people to apply to become our muralist, but will be looking for someone with a special interest in and extensive knowledge of Indigenous history.

Those interested in applying should send a rough concept sketch to [email protected].
Summer Camp Counselor

Experience the best of nature at Chattanooga Audubon Society Summer Camps at Audubon Acres. We’re seeking enthusiastic and caring counselors to provide a unique outdoor experience for young campers from ages 5 to 12. Counselors will need to be positive role models and help the campers have a safe and fun experience on our 130-acre Nature Sanctuary. The best way to ensure a great experience is to participate in all of the activities with the campers.

Please send resume to [email protected]
