Kite Making Workshop

Join us on September 19th at 2pm for a kite making workshop!
These aren't your average store-bought kites. Chuck Jones of River City Kites will be teaching us the history of kites, how they relate to science and discoveries, and how they've shaped history. As the quote on Chuck's website says, "There's nothing trivial about kites". He'll bring his own collection of impressive kites for us to admire as well. After viewing Chuck's kites, we'll have a chance to make and decorate our own 24inx24in diamond kites to fly in the meadow. The class is for everyone 4+. Adults do not need to buy a ticket unless they plan on making their own kite. Tickets are $20 for members and $25 for non-members. Spots are limited for this class.
