Maclellan Island Paddle Trip
with L2 Outside

Let’s get on the river and beat that summer heat! Our friends at L2 Outside are lending us their watercraft and guiding us to Maclellan Island where we will have a picnic before floating back down the river. This 2-hour paddle is a fantastic way to see the city from a new angle and with L2’s fun and professional team, this event is sure to be a great time.
The paddle trip will start at 10:30 am when the guides will get us on the water and paddling towards the island. Once at Maclellan, we will hop off and have a chance to explore the island and eat our packed lunches. After lunch, we will leisurely float back to Coolidge Park. L2 will take care of all of the equipment, so you won’t have to load or unload heavy kayaks. They have paddleboards, single kayaks, and tandem kayaks available. There's plenty of room in the kayaks to bring lunch along and all paddleboards have bungees on them. This is great for a smaller cooler or to bring along a small sack of any sort. Children under 12 must share a watercraft with an adult whether that’s doubled up on a paddleboard or in a tandem kayak. Children under 6 are welcome to share a single kayak with their adult. There must be one adult per child under 12. We suggest arriving 30 minutes early to find parking in Coolidge Park. Then head straight under the Market St. bridge where the L2 crew will be waiting with all equipment. |
This event is $35 for non-member adults and $30 for member adults.
