Meet the Teachers
Karla Felecia Scaife - Lead Natural Art Educator - Monday Morning Karla Felecia Scaife is a multi-hyphenate artist committed to making intentional creative spaces more accessible to under-served communities. Karla holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and a Master of Theological Studies from Vanderbilt Divinity School. She feels most alive when she is in mid-daydream, in a creative community, and near water. Gracie Gehle - Lead Natural World Educator - Monday and Wednesday Afternoons Gracie was born and raised in Ohio and grew a strong passion for the outdoors through a childhood of camping, fishing, and kayaking. That passion drove Gracie to attend Ohio State University to pursue a degree in natural resource management with a specialization in fisheries. After getting her degree, Gracie spent two years as a fisheries technician doing population samples and community outreach. That job gave her the opportunity to teach people about the wonders of the natural world and Gracie found a new passion in education. Gracie enjoys fishing, hiking, kayaking, and white water rafting in her free time and on a weekend you can find her guiding down the Ocoee river! Gracie also paints, creates stained glass murals, and draws for fun (mostly fish themed)! |
