🦉 Nighttime Owl Prowl 🦉
Whoooooo is ready to search for owls?!
🐦 Our board member and enthusiastic ornithologist, Laura Marsh, will be leading us on a nighttime hike to look for and listen for owls. Audubon Acres is home to many avian friends, but one of our special residents is a Barred Owl! Last year there were even owl babies! Their distinct call is easy to identify once you know it and we will all be listening closely to see if we can hear from our feathered friend. 👂 Additionally, we've also had Great Horned Owls and Eastern Screech Owls grace us with their presence here at Audubon Acres, though it has been a bit since we've last seen them. 🦉 Maybe this will be the night! 🥾 We cannot promise any owl sightings, but we can promise a lovely night hike with a knowledgeable ornithologist who can answer your questions about birding. |
