Red Clay State Park will guide us through the world of Cherokee weaponry before the arrival of Europeans. 🏹 Embark on a 45-minute to 1-hour exploration where knowledge meets action. Ranger Kaitlyn will guide you through a blend of lecture and demonstration, unveiling the secrets of Cherokee warfare with expert precision. 🛡️ Encounter the tools of ancient warfare firsthand as Ranger Kaitlyn unveils an impressive array of artifacts. From the sleek design of the atlatl to the formidable presence of the warclub, each weapon tells a story of survival and strategy. 💨 Discover the stealthy power of the Cherokee blowgun, a testament to ingenuity and precision. Then, witness the evolution of weaponry with a replica flint-lock rifle, a symbol of changing times and cultures. Children are welcome at this demonstration as long as they are capable of receiving and following directions.
